Who we are?
We have a peasant oven, a kettle and we have a grill.
We have a nice old peasant house, we have a wonderful spice garden, many fruit trees with happy lambs bouncing under them.
We have good air, wonderful wine region, excellent wines, happy vineyardists, village calmness and hospitality.
What else is needed?
Our aim is the kind, homely catering, which is proved by the fact that we furnished the few-table little inn in our living room.
We are small and want to be stay small. It is important that we are not a restaurant! We do not have a menu card. On each weekend we cook something which we fondly offer to our Guests and Friends.
As the newest gastronomic spot of the wine region of Villány, we would like to color the selection of our wine region as a culinary workshop.
The destiny of our kitchen is that from the materials of the local producers, with the know-how peeked from the grandparents, we pamper the gourmets visiting the village with freshly made meals every day, on the spot.
We wait our guests in the mornings with village breakfast, with fragrant teas, steaming coffee, at noon with daily kettle-dishes and strudels, and during the evening with oven dinners or even with special wine dinners.
Who we are?
Kind, warm hearted village people, whose aims are to keep the local values and mediating the village life-style. And oh yes, we adore cooking passionately and it especially pleases us if others like our meals.

Village breakfast
Let the day begin well!
On each Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 to 10:00, only in the case of ordering in advance.
Palkonyha’s morning offer:
Cold hame made snacks for 2 persons, organic fruit juice, or orange juice according to wish, coffee with fresh home made milk or without it, butter and home made marmalade variations, honey from Palkonya, freshly baked mini pastries directly from the oven.
Egg foods according to the daily offer::
Omelet: with home made ham, sour cream, cheese and onion.
Scrambled eggs: classic with ham, cheese, – or how the goodman likes it – with home made bacon, parsley and parmesan
Fried eggs with ham or without ham (Ham and eggs classic)
Breakfast menu: 2.500,- HUF / person
Daily kettle meal or grill each Saturday for lunch
On each Saturdays from 12:00 to 14:30

Freshly baked oven torteau with home made gravies
One course dish:

Lamb with bean made in kettle, mush with sheep cheese made in oven
Rooster stew with red wine, cottage cheese dumpling baked in oven
Wild boar ragout with forest mushrooms and home made cobs from the oven

Rich chicken soup a’la Palkonya
Svabian lamb ragout soup
Beef goulash with home made noodles
Oven dishes:
Lamb trotters with rosemary, fried vegetables and mushrooms
Roasted whole duck with cabbage mixed with honey and apple
Porket flitch, with vegetables and thyme potato fried with it
Goose leg with garlic and potato, and with cabbage with red wine and dried plum
Desserts:
Floating islands a’la Palkonya with egg cream with almonds
Cottage cheese torteau from the oven with forest fruits sauce
Corn polenta from the oven with home made peach marmalade
Semolina pudding with yellow gage sauce and cottage cheese cream
